Riyanti is a 32-year-old Indonesian Muslim who is divorced and blessed with a 12-year-old daughter. She has experience in childcare, elderly care, pet care, and household management gained from working in both Indonesia and Singapore. She is able to converse in simple English and can read and write basic English. From 2019 to 2022, Riyanti worked for an Indonesian family of 4 consisting of Sir, Ma'am, and children aged 4 and 2 years old. Her main responsibility was caring for the 4-year-old girl, including showering, supervision, and engaging her in play activities. Another helper was responsible for the younger child. She also shared housekeeping duties for a 3BR/3T landed house, grocery shopping, and cooking with the other helper. From 2022 to 2023, she worked for an Indonesian family of 6 comprising Sir, Ma'am, three adult children, and a healthy 80-year-old Ah Mah. She assisted Ah Mah with light daily tasks such as preparing clothes and serving meals. Together with another helper, she managed housekeeping for a 2-storey landed house with 5 bedrooms and 4 toilets, marketing, daily cooking, and caring for a medium-sized dog, including feeding and bathing. From 2024 to 2026, Riyanti worked for a Singaporean Chinese family of 5 consisting of Sir, Ma'am, and three adult children. She attended to the family's daily needs, managed housekeeping for an HDB maisonette with 3 bedrooms and 3 toilets, handled marketing, and assisted Ma'am with cooking. She also cared for the family's pets, including a cat (feeding, providing water, and cleaning the litter box), a dog (feeding, bathing, and walking), and a turtle (feeding and cleaning the tank). Riyanti will complete her two-year contract on 27 October 2026 and plans to return to Indonesia for a short family visit. She is eager to come back to Singapore to continue working, motivated by her desire to provide a better future for her daughter. With her willingness to learn and experience in childcare, elderly assistance, pet care, cooking, and housekeeping, she hopes to serve her next employer well and become a valuable member of the household.
