Introduction

Lal Rin Mawi worked with her current employer in Singapore for almost 10 months. An Indian vegetarian family of 5 comprising of Sir, Mam and 3 teenage children staying in a 3 storey landed property. She handles the daily general housework such as sweeping, vacuuming and mopping the floor, wash and iron clothes, handle the needs of the children and cooking. Prior to working in Singapore, she had worked as a housemaid in Oman for 2 years (2022 - 2024 ) for a family of 8 (2 adults & 6 children aged 3 to 17 years old) staying in a 7 bedrooms & 6 bath cum toilets apartment. She did general housework, washing & ironing. cooking and assisted in caring for the 3 years old boy. She is able to cook simple Myanmar dishes like fried chicken, fried rice, stir fry vegetables, Arabic dishes like briyani, makboos, Indian vegetarian like dahl, chapati, potato or eggplant curry, aloo gobi and is willing to learn different types of cooking.
