LAICA HIPOL NISPEROS is a 24-year-old Filipino applicant from San Juan, La Union. She is single and currently resides with her family. She comes from a large family and is the youngest among eight siblings, having three brothers and four sisters. Her father, aged 73, works as a farmer, while her mother, aged 65, is a housewife. She completed her secondary education at San Juan Senior High School in 2019. While awaiting an opportunity to work in Singapore, she is currently assisting her mother with household chores and helping manage their home. Laica has gained various work experiences that have helped her develop a strong work ethic and adaptability. She worked as a Salon Massage Therapist from 2019 to 2020, a Cook from 2020 to 2022 , a Sales Clerk from 2022 to 2023, and a Promodiser from September 2023 to April 2026. These experiences enhanced her customer service skills, patience, responsibility, and ability to work efficiently in different environments. In addition to her non-domestic employment, Laica has practical domestic work experience in the Philippines. From 2017 to 2019, she worked for a Filipino family living in a two-storey, four-bedroom house occupied by four adults. As an all-around helper, she was responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the household. Her duties included general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, cooking, and other household chores. During her employment, her employers also allowed her to attend Sunday classes so that she could complete her secondary education, demonstrating her determination to improve herself while fulfilling her responsibilities. Laica is confident in caring for newborns and young children. Having actively cared for her nephews and nieces from birth until four years of age, she has hands-on experience in childcare. She is capable of preparing meals and milk feeds, feeding, bathing, changing clothes, supervising daily activities, and ensuring children's safety and well-being. She also understands the importance of engaging children in educational and age-appropriate activities to support their development. With her domestic work experience, she has become proficient in household management and can efficiently perform cleaning, washing clothes, dishwashing, laundry, ironing, and other household duties. She takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic living environment. Laica is particularly confident in her cooking skills due to her previous experience as a cook. She is knowledgeable in preparing a variety of Filipino dishes and can easily follow recipes from cookbooks and online sources. During her free time, she has also practiced preparing simple Chinese and Arabic dishes. She is enthusiastic about learning new cuisines and cooking techniques to meet the preferences and needs of her future employer. In addition to household duties, Laica is willing to undertake pet care, gardening, and car washing whenever required. She is described as hardworking, responsible, patient, and eager to learn. Her willingness to adapt, combined with her experience in housekeeping, childcare, and cooking, makes her a suitable candidate for domestic employment. Upon selection, Laica will attend the required OWWA Orientation Seminar and complete all necessary documentation and processing requirements mandated by the Philippine government for the deployment of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
