Experiences 3 years 6 months (Apr 2014 – Oct 2017) as a helper in the Philippines Darlyn worked in a flat with 2-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a family of 3 with a 6-month-old, and she looked after his welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. 1 year 9 months (Nov 2017 – Aug 2019) as a caretaker in the Philippines Darlyn looked after the welfare of a bedridden female patient with skin problem, cleans and tidy her bedroom, and does her laundry. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences. (Sep 2019 – present) Stays home, looks after her family welfare and seek new opportunities. Cooking She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. Childcare She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her local experience, she prepared his milk, meals and fed him, bathed and changed him with fresh clothing and diapers, dressed and sent him to-and-fro from school, attended to and assisted in his needs. Hand phone She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Off-day The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly. 2 years contract She is aware of the 2-year contract.
